I read an article ages ago about people who make a living on youtube. One of the people this article listed was Natalie Tran. She is a 20 something Aussie / oriental gal (Maybe Vietnamese), and apparently she makes $100,000 plus a year off of her videos, which I thought was cool.

I find her videos very entertaining to say the least.

You don't pay to watch her videos. They are free. She gets paid to put videos up on youtube. Advertisers are paying her.

The more interest that is in the videos that you post, gets the attention of advertisers and they advertise with youtube on popular pages. The people whose videos are popular get paid for thier videos.

Noone pays to watch any videos on youtube.
