I can understand coming out as gay but never bi. Too many people see the world as black and white for me to admit this. People that are straight will judge, people that are gay and those that openly accept the gay lifestyle will judge. More labels like "sex addict" will be mentioned behind your back. If you have the arrogance, self esteem, and support then go for it. Not for me though. You really have to have an attitude of not caring what others think and enjoy the drama. BUT..where I live is still locked in the 1950s, with all of the open mindedness of the period. Good luck

Wishing you the best Green. I am out to my wife, a few very close friends, and one brother. I wonder what you include when you state 'public'?
We have seen a few celebrities coming out as bi, and while there are some naysayers on all sides of the spectrum, I am very happy to see them come out in a positive way and provide role models for us all.

Best wishes, keep the negative attitudes at bay, and share your experiences with us.

I'm one who doesn't feel anyone should feel obligated to make a big statement about their sexual preferences. If you feel like doing so, fine, but I see no need to do so. I don't hide mine, but I don't advertise it, either.
