Thank you for the tip on the ignore function, welickit ! I was not even aware there was an ignore function on this site. As soon as I put 'you-know-who' on my ig list, all those inane posts of his disappeared from my forum list. Had I known sooner, I'd have igged him! I hope he's igged in the chatroom too ! I have a feeling he uses other names too, so if anyone knows or suspects him of trolling/ghosting or lurking with other handles, let me know so I can add those names to my ig list. What with seeing the chatroom open again, it's a double blessing !

His attempt to ostracize members that he deems not bisexual/homosexual enough is unacceptable. His use of vulgarity is done deliberately. Some members *are* interested in Poles threads. It's evident by the replies. However, many of the responses to a number of his threads are posted by Pole himself. That significantly reduces the number of replies from other members thereby making the reply count in his threads inaccurate.
Pole should start a blog. Then he could have questions/responses lobbed back and forth in one concise blog. Or he could start a group called "Poles Polls" and the 5 or 6 members who are loyal poll respondents could join.

I do think Pole is very blunt and crude. Also, annoying for spite when others complain about him.

But making a post to directly attack a person is in poor taste. This isn't the first thread made specifically to attack Pole. These threads make their posters look just as bad, if not worse.

I was absent from the boards for the weekend (sometimes the real world gets in the way). I'm actually pretty appalled at the level of personal attacks that took place. Not just in this thread, but others. Not all of these fingers can be pointed a Pole.

Let's stop the flaming and name calling. Calling someone a troll is name calling. Instead, can we ask people to modify the type of things they post, in a polite and civilized manner, in a way that will further us as a community?
