Talk to anyone that's worked on or with trains and they'll tell you this:
The throttle can only be manually operated. I don't have any type of empathy for this engineer. I hope once the result comes out of his NEGLIGENCE he is charged with eight counts of negligent homicide.

A report was released today and the train crash was not caused by a mechanical failure on the train.

I have heard rumors that this guy was using his cellphone for gay hook up apps like Grindr, and train conductors, engineers, workers, etc. are forbidden to use their cellphones.
