View Full Version : Asking a huge favor from fellow members

Hello friends,
I'm home from work on a snow day. It's a good day.
So I decided to take a break and jump on the website just to see what's going on. I usually check messages and browse the threads that are posted. I read some and bypass others. Some really good and some not so good. Most of the time they are entertaining.
I avoid the titles that don't interest me as well as the ones started by those few individuals that I have on ignore. After all, they are on ignore for a reason, right? I mean, everyone has a right to post their thoughts (and pictures). But I've learned over the years that there are some individuals that I will just never see eye to eye with. And I will never consider their posts, pictures, or polls worthwhile. So I put certain members on ignore so I can avoid their crap.
So, here's the favor: In case some members don't realize this- when one copies another's post in a quote box, the post in the quote box is no longer engaged in the "ignore" function. Sadly, for those who have that particular member on ignore, the post or picture is now displayed on the thread. Not a problem within *normal* banter and within *normal* conversation but very much an issue when dealing with offensive trolls who like the back and forth volley of character bashing.
Please consider this in the future because I'm sure there are many (like me) who enjoy the threads much more without the negativity.
Thanks for reading.

Have a great day-

No!!!!!!!!! I will not do that. I do not have anyone on ignore. I will quote the person to whom I am responding, that includes those you and others have on ignore. Otherwise, my comment would not convey the meaning I intended. So, my advice to you is to put me on your ignore list too.

Jeeze! Is your memory that freekin short that you have to repeat everything? Or is it that you think the rest of us are too dumb to figure out who or what you're commenting about? Or are you that weak of a writer that your audience needs all the clue they can get to figure out what you are trying to say? The latter gets my vote!

Well, you just did exactly what I do so there is no confusion about who I am responding to. So, put me on your ignore list to avoid those few posts that reference others you don't like.
