BlueIris update.. [first off let me say-- He is okay!]

Cris-Rob's wife contacted me, a little while ago.. regarding Rob's health.


As many of you know, Rob sustained major injury to his left hand... and had surgery on it recently. The hand became infected, so much so, he had to go to the ER.

Once at the ER.. they placed him in an Oxygen Tank to kill the bacteria.

"...about three hours in the chamber, Rob had a massive heart attack and actually passed away in front of us. The doctors revived him but had to make the decision to remove his left hand this morning. ...

...he is doing well, all things considering. ....he was making jokes after he came out of recovery. Asked if physical therapy could show him how to clap. ....

its very important for you to understand, that he is out of the woods now. hand contained the infection. ....He is going to be just fine, physically....

I'm not sure what he has told everyone about the hand, but there was always a chance of losing it... it's going to be fine. ....at least we still have him!..."


Please keep him in your prayers and positive thoughts.. i'm sure he'd appreciate them!

Oh, Please convey to BlueIris and his wife that our thoughts of concern and caring are with them. Reading how it happened was difficult. Know that he is in fine spirits and joking is the first step in the long, hard road to recovery ahead. Bill and I wish him the best.

As ever he has my continuing thoughts and prayers to the gods(esess) I hope he has no more drama's to go through and is back home with his family and freinds as soon as possible. Rob-

Had a final Surgery on his 'left arm' yesterday [to finalize the amputation of his left hand]. I am told the surgery went very well.

He should be returning home barring anymore complications.. on Monday or Tuesday.


I want to thank you all for your continued support and encouragement.


I am still waiting on jokes!.... or funny shared experiences that might make Rob laugh a bit. His humor is quite slanted indeed... and it is part of him.. undeniably!
