Hi Everyone,

I hardly see anyone online on this forum - so I guess it might be a while before someone responds, but thanks anyways in advance.

I (60 YO) usually go commando (don't wear underwear) when I am at home - never had any problem until recently. last week I started feeling a bit of discomfort (maybe 2-3 on a level of 10) in my balls.I don't see a swelling or any injury on my balls - besides I can't see a doctor thanks to the current situation.

I read on the internet that wearing a briefs or a JOCKSTRAP underwear would help as they would support the balls. Since then I have started wearing my regular briefs, and the discomfort has gone down.

Since then I have started wearing my regular briefs, and the discomfort has gone down.

What's your opinion/view/advice?

The boys need supporting and they're sensitive to temperature; you get too hot, they drop down - get too cold, they draw up for some body heat. I don't go commando and I don't wear boxers... I wear boxer briefs and found them good for da boys after growing up wearing the infamous tighty whities and getting pissed off over the occasional discomfort. If nothing else, a jock-type of underwear gives the needed support while, I guess, giving you that "I ain't wearing any underwear!" feeling some guys enjoy... and I understand some guys find them very sexy. I've seen some that are made like actually jockstraps to allow enough air in to aid in regulating temperature as well as preventing jock itch. I don't think I'd ever wear that style of underwear since, um, some I've seen don't do much for, ah, skid marks...

Thank you - I heard that Jockstraps support the "balls" and prevent "sagging" and discomfort, but I am not sure if I'll get used to them. Yeah the skid marks... 54952

Thank you - I am happy for you - I would love to wear panties, but my "other half" would think I am crazy!

Boxer briefs for me. I like the Costco brand. Very comfortable, soft and support the boys. Not too hot and not too cold.

I don't understand - Do you mean that briefs or a jockstrap underwear support the balls and prevent discomfort?

Same here but a little longer in the leg. I recently bought some Hanes brand that have mesh in the front for coolness.

I personally think you have testicular torsion or you pulled a muscle in your abdomen. I have had both and it's uncomfortable but not unbearable. Testicular torsion is when the cord holding the testicle gets twisted or kincked. In most cases it resolves itself. I recently wasn't careful lifting something heavy at work and noticed my left testicle was a little sore. When I lifted something else I noticed a long muscle in my abdomen was sore as well as my testicle. I have been more careful i lifting and it's resolved itself nicely. But I do wear boxer briefs daily, because thats what I prefer. It does seem to help wigh the torsion. I wear Hanes Comfort Flex Fit, they hold the boys well very well.
