Great idea tex
i tend to cook aloty with different typs of alcohol!
i should stop right here, before everyone thinks i have a serious drinking problem! (lol)
but seriously, i find alcohol (of different types) gives food alot of different flavors and i also use alot of onions too (but i dont know if that counts)?
there is my input for this fun thread
:2cents: ;)

Tex...yet another interesting question!!!
My answer....
I approach cooking like I approach sex....with a lot of love, a great deal of imagination and just the right amount of spice to add that extra flavor!!
What more can I say???

And I forgot to add to my post since I got so wrapped up with my cooking/sex analogy....
I do love cooking with different spices. We found a great place to order a wide variety of interesting spices and I will post that site as soon as I return home. I have found that these spices make the ordinary dish a bit extradordinary.

i will use different types of salad dressings(sometimes i add spices in the bag to) and soak my meats in a zip lock bag 30 mins before putting it on the grill...or i'll take bbq sause and smoother my chicken in it while cooking on the grill(turing the chicken often)..

For condiments Ketchup (Tomato sauce for Chook and Jazzer) is a good standby for everything. I also like to use a lot of ginger and garlic. I make my own marinades of worchestershire sauce, mustard, red wine, vinegar, oil, garlic, brown sugar and water or a BBQ sauce of worchestershire, mustard, brown sugar, ketsup and garlic. I'm not big on herbs so only use them in moderation.

I just usually use what the recipe calls for.................even though I have quiet a few secret sauces and pastes which I have created over the years but unlike my mum I love to cook Indian and asian dishes with heaps or ring stinging chillies and whatever goes with them.
Cheers Chook
