Now even the Celebrities don't look good enough for the cover of a magazine.
(Faith Hill Photoshopped (http://jezebel.com/gossip/photoshop-of-horrors/heres-our-winner-redbook-shatters-our-faith-in-well-not-publishing-but-maybe-god-278919.php) )

Ugh!

Dear Lord In Heaven! Wow. I had no idea thay they would go that far. I used to do a little work for a photographer, and he told be about the wonders of digital imaging, but that is just too much. No wonder the cosmetics industry is billion dollar.

That's not even fair. I wonder how she felt about having her picture "fixed." It must not have felt very good.

As a graphic arts student and someone who HAS done "touch up" work on photos, I am of two minds on it.

A personal story: My senior year, I sat for my pictures. . .I had my hair done, had a friend do my make up, and brought my best dress and trainer's shirt in order to look perfect.

When I got my proofs, I liked them and chose the ones I likes... I thought, perfect.

But Bryn Allan didn't think I was perfect enough, so they airbrushed my birthmark off my face. I was livid. I didn't think I could fight that hard for a small discoloration under my eye, but I did. I tried to call and get some sort of compensation, but... nothing.

I haven't sat for a studio picture since. I refuse to.

I'm sorry you had that experience Taylor, it must have really sucked.

FWIW I can't even stand to look at any pictures of myself, it's just ummm not pleasant.

Anyway sorry about that, I understand.
