Nice Pink Herbwoman! Looks awesome!!
Here's a picture of my Absinthe just after the louche ("loosh") and before I started drinking it. Sorry it's a bit fuzzy, camera phone's not very high quality. At least the Absinthe was good! :tong:

If anyone has heard of the artist Dale Chihuly (http://www.chihuly.com/), I took pictures of some of his stuff when he exibited at Fairchild Tropical Garden (http://www.fairchildgarden.org/) a couple years ago. . .

He broke his own rule( don't exhibit at the same place twice) and exhibited at FTG again. . .I didn't bring my camera for that one, tho. :(
Oh, and here's me as a baby..

Why thankya Herbie! Alas, I am a little less photogenic these days. Is the pink dye done yet? I'm still waiting on that one...

Awesome! It looks cool, but I hope you can FEEL the difference. I wouldn't have the balls to do something like that myself. Plus, it'd reduce my chances of getting a job. Maybe one day, when I'm rich and/or retired...

I'm having a blast! Was at WalMart earlier and there was a little girl who tugged on her mother's hem and practically yelled "Mommy! Mommy! Look!" LOL! There have also been 5 or 6 folks telling me they love my hair. And the oh-so-many people who are trying not to stare
Every time I catch a glimpse of myself I just break into a huge grin. I LOVE MY HAIR!!
As for the feel texture) of my hair, I conditioned three times while I was bleaching and then two more times after that so it's not fried. It's still a little coarse, but not half bad.

.
See, I'd be too paranoid to do that... I bought a pair of leather jeans a while back and they only got worn ONCE due to some smart-ass remark from my father and me feeling overly self-conscious when walking down the street wearing them.
If kids in supermarkets all started pointing at me like that, I'd probably have a panic attack or something, haha!
Still, its something to work on... it does get boring being "outwardly normal" sometimes.

Ask and ye SHALL receive... ;)
1st, please check out this link re: how Absinthe is now LEGAL in the USA! (It will also give you good instruction on how to prepare it!)
http://www.wormwoodsociety.org/
2nd, here's the best deal I've found online for the first USA sold French made Absinthe on the market. (Yes, $60/bottle is average, when compared to overseas pricing with int'l shipping!) I don't like the bottle design (not at all classic -- they're trying too hard to appeal to the USA market), but reviews from my peers have given this Absinthe a thumbs up! I'm waiting for them to ship the 2 bottles I've preordered.

3rd, if you're going to drink Absinthe, you need the proper accessories (a glass, an absinthe spoon, the sugar -- it's not regular cubes from the supermarket, and some sort of container for icing and slowly dripping water). Here's a USA site, so you won't be paying big $$ or overseas shipping:

So Herbwoman, relax, read up, order a few things and I look forward to joining you for a virtual "L'Heure Verte" (The Green Hour -- aka happy hour) very soon!
Cheers, luv!

Mmm, well, I see your point. But I deleted the photo from my photobucket album and its still showing in the thread, so I guess there's not much I can do now. If anyone wants to ask admin to delete the pics of me and Taylor, then thats cool.
