A day of Thanksgiving tomorrow...

My words are simple.

Thank you to all the friends I have found here and to the ones I have yet to meet. I appreciate the community as a whole were I have a found a safe place to be, learn and grow.

I too have much to be grateful on this day when so many are taking and not giving. I am most grateful to those of you who have given me support, hope and enocuragement in what has been a most difficult year. It has been a long and difficult year of recovery from a ruptured disc in my back. So thank you all. To one very special person, whom I have been lucky enough have come into my life to complete me, your heart is as big as the whole outdoors which you have shown me which is something right under our very eyes and I am blessed that you have taken me under your wing and taugh me the meaning of bliss.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here, but thats a shame, IMO. At very least it sounds like a good exacuse to get together with friends, have a good time, and appreciate the things we have around us.

I already had mine six weeks ago, but in a way, I get another Thanksgiving tomorrow. Mind you, it looks like a really snowy one. :)

I'm thankful for good health, family and lots of wonderful friends, close to me in Toronto and far away, all over the place. I am hoping that those I know who are facing challenges will triumph over them in the coming days and weeks.

So why is it like a second Thanksgiving for me? Because it's when, most of all, I am thankful for the love, care and comfort of my wife, who is newly immigrated from the US to Canada. :)
