My bf is dating but hasn't found many bi guys to date. He is on gaydar but his mailbox has been quite quiet. Is there somewhere online or off (UK) that bi guys are hiding?

I guess you have already had a look at the personals on here?

Some of the paid "swinger" type sites have quite a few bi guys - here in Oz the biggest seems to be adultmatchmaker, followed by redhotpie. It may be worth joining both as a guest member initially. The membership overlaps quite a bit too, maybe half the profiles found on one site are found on the other too.

You could also look on Yahoo UK for bi groups...

Hope this helps.

I hadn't thought of yahoo groups thanks :)

I don't think this site is very busy in the UK, I posted an add least year but it's quiet dating wise here.

He uses my adultfriendfinder profile now but it is a sexually orientated site and he wants someone for who they are as well as there bits!

9.9 times out of 10, Gaydar and adultfriendfinder are a waste of time. Sure, if you have a photo and a profile properly filled out with something about you, you may, with perseverance eventually hook up with someone, but there are so many sad characters on these sites (none of whom you would know fully clothed) that you're much better off elsewhere.

If your bf is the type of person who is looking for more than a casual connection, then he could try a dating site run by a certain UK quality newspaper. I'm on it and I've never looked back. It beats any other site hands down.

I'll email you the link

Thanks again :)

Im not sure he knows exactly what he is looking for, I know he wants someone he can relax with and learn to trust, someone who understands he is "new" to his feelings and fairly inexperienced with guys, wants someone someone who likes the music he likes, might go to gigs with him..you know..

I shall report my findings tonight :bipride:

Yes I know what you mean... its always tricky finding someone after friendship not just sex on any of those sites, although I did find my long term g/f there - you just never know.

If he is using your female profile that won't work well - people will assume he/you/the profile is fake. He really needs his own profile... perhaps with a mention that he may reply from a different profile if you are a paid member and he isnt.

When I last looked into AFF last guest accounts were pretty much useless, whereas AMM & RHP allow paid members to contact you.

I don't know whether your bf would get any more dating action from it but you could try www.literotica.com and have a try on their GLBT forum. People who post threads on the GLBT Chatter board seem to get a lot of responses. I have even had some offers to meet up from guys in my area.

I don't know about the UK and the States, but I've been able to get to know cool guys from Central Europe on www.gayromeo.com :)

So far, from what I have seen, most of the men calling themselves bisexual that I have found really don't seem to follow the patterns of circulation that men who think of themselves as gay seem to follow. Maybe, it's an indication of their being more "balanced", but to assume so, would likely be in error.

I have found that I run into bi men in places like bookstores (not the adult kind)
in mens groups, in coffee shops, and hanging around artistic endeavors.
They also seem to hover around decadent food shops, like the pastry shop or what have you.
