I'm more confused that a cat in the clothes dryer.....
Am I wrong in assuming that this site is for adults, and meaning adults 21 and over? I keep getting hit up by these ding bats that profess to be 17, 19, 20 and one that was 16. What the heck!?? I'm not comfortable talking to these kids, so I tell them thanks but no thanks. I'm not yer Mama (Even tho thats my name in the Lifestyle world)
What IS the actual age minimum in here? I thought it was 21 but perhaps I'm mistaken......

Interesting. I wonder how the laws would stand up in court in the states that say "illegal", especially between consenting adults.

I would assume since it's an "adult" website that the age minimum would be 18. Is that not the standard "legal adult" age in most places? I'm talking legal adult in the sense of having voting rights, you can now go to jail, buy lottery tickets, not live under your parents rule, etc. - basically all the laws / rights / consequences associated with the adult population are now associated with you.
21, 19, 16, etc...those are legal drinking ages, not legal adult ages.
and 14, 16, 17, etc are common "age of consent" ages....again, not necessarily a legal adult.
Personally i think that each country should have ONE age where you move from being legally considered a child to being legally an adult. 18 is a good age, or even 19, since most people are done highschool by then. All of this confusion over ages for drinking, ages for sex, ages for driving, etc is just dumb. Why are you allowed to vote, but not drink or buy tobacco for another year? (in Ontario anyways...another 3 years in the states). Or, why are you allowed to have sex with your 18 year old partner if you are 16 (well...if you are straight anyways) but should that partner want sexy photos...now they're a child pornographer. Im not advocating that people should be able to take racy pictures of teenagers - I just think there needs to be one clear age that defines adulthood, and that it's a high enough age to protect children both psychologically and physically. I think such a thing may also help out with the awkwardness of those late teen years....where you feel like you are an adult, and you can do some things, but then so many other sectors of society are closed off.
Anyways, I apologize for the long off topicness. I think the age restrictions for this site are 18...thats the age all adult sites I have seen online have as their filter. "are you 18? then click yes to enter"

I think that the minimum age is 18 for this site.
The ones professing to be under that age are likely either feds trying to hunt up pedophiles (I think that they picked the wrong site for that, here) or they are teenagers that lied to get their profile approved, in which case they should get reported and removed from the site until they really are 18.

This site is wildly out of date (2001).
As of 26 June 2003, as per United States Supreme Court decision Lawrence v. Texas, all anti-sodomy laws in the United States have been rendered null and void. That means that there is no longer any anti-gay sex laws of any kind in the U.S., other than the across the board 18 being age of sexual consent.
Hoorah for legal knowledge!

I for one am glad young people can come here for advice and help, but if they're under 18 sorry, there isn't going to be any overtly sexual interaction.
Since it is a condition of membership hopefully this isn't an issue unless someone specifically tells you they are underage.
To all of the younger people on here, I'm not really trying to disrespect, but if I knew now what I thought I knew at 18, 20, 25, 30..but didn't really know.. Let's just say we are all still learning - every day...
