Can a douche such as massengill be used in your rectum ?
If so, how clean does it get you ?

I don't suggest that you use a feminine douche in your rectum. Your rectum and lower bowel has a mucus lining that helps things "move along". Douche consists of soap which would flush your mucus and lead to easier chance of tearing and infection.
Enemas (Fleet usually made with Sodium biphosphate and sodium phosphate, or you can find a mineral oil kind) are made specifically for rectums, but if you have kidney disease or electrolyte imbalance you are supposed to consult a physician first before using the Fleet.

Uhmm, I wouldnt suggest the Massingale in your rectum, Hon. The last thing you need is to dry out those sensitive walls and cause some major probs in there..:(
And the Fleet ememas are Loaded with Salt, hence the Sodium content of said product. My gay friend uses a warm Linseed or minerial oil and water solution, like LilRay suggested. He says it cleans him out properly and doesnt harm that delicate rectum and bowel lining as well. He's also used babyoil and warm water and has said Virgin Olive oil works well too, but I have no idea of these things. I suppose its ok if your making a tossed salad..Oh Lord, ner'mind. :kay: Blushes deeply.
You could always consult a good Onocologist if you wished, too. He could give you the straight poop on the the subject..*Snicker*:tongue:
Have fun and always be safe Honey.

Just cause stuff goes in and out of it doesn't mean it's the same. :p
So yeah, enema that. Douche would be bad for the rear end.

There are plenty of other sites out there if you Google the subject

Thanks 12Vman!
I'm not very interested in receiving anal sex, myself. In the past, I did allow two male lovers enter me anally, because I loved them and wanted to please them. I have always asked guys and girls, with whom I had anal sex, to use an enema beforehand. But, after reading that, I realized that just flushing with water, is not appropriate. Just one more reason to be part of the family on this site!

Good Oncologists can also be female. Hey, why are most Gyno types male? Let's face it, bad pun intended, they're specializing in areas that males and females die from. I truly don't want to start a 'flame war' here about Douche vs enema and why either might be good or not in either place.
I will say, that Virgin Olive oil is great for making a salad, that's the first pressing of the olives. I'm still confused about where they make 'babyoil' from. Is that the same thing???:tongue:

I think that "baby oil" is simply a watered down version of mineral oil--whatever that really is--I also think that you meant to say a "gynocologist" not an "oncologist"--an oncologist deals with cancers while the "gyn" deals with the "female plumbing."
Of course the "Ob" part is "Obstetrics" which is the taking care of pregnant females--- I don't mean to be a smarty pants or anything---just helping ya out a bit--but we all knew what ya meant!
I have a cousin-she is married to an Ob/Gyn--he took over the practice his granddad started---his dad took over the practice forty or so years ago and now that his dad retired and sadly, died a few years back, my cuz's hubby has now taken over that family's "bidness!"
It is something that traditionally--Ob/Gyns have been male-that is starting to change--but very slowly--maybe one day--there will be more female Ob/Gyns than male ones--but that will take at least a few generations for that to be the case----at least here in the good Ol' US of A!!
It is funny, one of her sisters is married to a funeral director and we say---with that family--"they bring 'em in and take 'em outta here!"
Peace, man!!!

For many years, douching with JUST plain warm water has been the only recommended method.
From "Anal Pleasure & Health" by Jack Morin, PH.d. (yup, there's even a book on the topic )
One can use the plastic bottle from something like a Fleet brand enema (dispose of the chemicals), a rubber bulb-shaped "ear syringe", rubber bag with a hose or one of many types of show attachments using very low pressure and not water that is not too hot.
