I'm just wondering how people feel about cross dressers. Yes, I do cross dress but am not passable, dont wear the wigs or makeup, just the sexy panties/thigh highs thing. Id love to hear from both men and women.

If you enjoy it and it doesn't hurt anyone else then I say who cares what you do. I have been known to wear panties every now and then. :tong:

I cross dress (see my pics) and I love it , of corse I'm closeted for now, but when I get the confidence along with looseing a little weight and learn more about makeup techniques I'm gonna try going out, I wear panties all the time and in the winter I ocasionally wear a bra when I have on a heavy coat as well as a garter belt and stockings, and I stay dressed in something or another about 70 percent of the time when I'm at home, I love cleaning house in a short skirt with pantyhose and heels etc. it makes me feel sexy, I could go on and on, but dress however you want theres nothing wrong with it. enjoy

Crossdressing is amazing. I can kind of "pass" which is never a bad thing (although this is only within the past year as I used to have a beard). I've been a crossdresser for quite a few years (since I was about 12/13) although it is only within the past couple of years that I have been able to enjoy it without feeling bad about it. I still don't quite have the courage to go out en femme except at fancy dress events/halloween when I have an "excuse" for looking beautiful.

I don't think that's a bad thing.

It's a lot harder for females to cross dress, though I'd love to wear a tux or a collared shirt sometime...

I do all the time. A near pear of thigh highs and a corset make me feel great.

Really? Women around here can wear basically anything they want and nobody cares. Any guy who is found out wearing anything female is subject to ridicule and persecution. Granted, a woman wearing a tux or men's business suit would turn heads, but people wouldn't care in the end. :tong:

I mean, when a guy cross dresses, all he has to do is put on a bra, dress, and stockings. Once you get into clothing that either a man or a woman could wear (pants, for example, or shirts), essentially the only difference is how the clothes fit.

Hello to everyone! :) Personally,I love to do it, and, like many people who have posted before me, as long as you dont hurt anyone, I see no harm in it. I usually take one my sisterĀ“s dress (or even my motherĀ“s), and ask my friends for the makeup and the wig. Here in my hometown we have a magnificent carnival every February of the year, and normally people dress up as all sort of things (think of it as a Halloween week), and cross dressing is not uncommon among both the male and female population during that part of the year (although personally I dont mind doing it any time of the year :P).

heh, had to step in here.

Hi ladies (and gents)

If it(cross-dressing) brings you joy, I say do it. Have fun, enjoy. Whether you are a transvestite or a transexual or a crossdresser, we are all the same underneath in a lot of ways.

hugs

:bibounce:It is a matter of preference and if it makes you happy then that is all that counts. I went out with a guy once who was a cross dresser and a fun night with him because he was dressed up like a woman and we had some amazing sex!:flag2:

I agree that some women's clothing is softer feeling to the skin. I agree that it is a preference and if you want to you should. It isn't for me personally. Unless it is very minimal and the guy is masculine in voice and mannerisms, I'm not interested in being with him sexually.

As far as women, I think that society is tolerant of more variations. We are so accustomed now to women in pants that a woman in a dress and high heels can come across as really hot and a rarity. Even many women dressing in a mannish suit can be sexy depending upon her body type. If you look at women news anchors they may tend to wear a suit jacket but it has a feminine difference than a man's suit...similar but different. Women in a white shirt and tie...again it is often styled slightly differently than a man's shirt.

I had a girlfriend who liked to wear my leather jacket to bed for sex...I guess she was kinda cross dressing?...lol She like the feel and smell of my jacket. It turned her on. I was fine with it as long as I could eventually strip her naked..lol.

I cross-dress, I truly accept the fact that my femininity isn't going away. There is a woman within me of that I am sure! I once suppressed her deep in my mind and kept her from hidden sight. Then I realized that it is not her that I was afraid of. I have been afraid of all the social ridicule that I would receive if I let her out. Then I realized I suffered social ridicule most of my life any way? When did I ever really fit in? The answer is only when I was a good actor, when I was good at pretending to be someone I was not. If any thing has truly brought shameful feelings to me it is that very deception, deceiving myself and others. It was time to except that this is a part of me, not apart from me, it is not a separate person it is the true me, it is that soft, gentle caring woman that is my very soul and I need to embrace her with some grace and dignity. She is after all in many ways, the best part of me.

If you enjoy it, awesome. But outside of things like nail polish on the fingers and toes, or eye make up... it doesn't arouse me at all.

That is an excellent and very profound way of looking at it, I agree with everything that you've said. After spending a long time hiding my female side, I can certainly empathise. Fortunately, I have mostly come out about it now and there is much less fear and secrecy.

Your point about the female side showing the best parts of you is also one I can empathise. For several years, I tried to be as male as possible (even to the point of having a beard up until about a year ago) and it just felt kind of false, it also led me into being conservative (I can still be conservative these days but not to nearly the same extent), intolerant (I used to despise feminism from some stupid reason, even though it was probably something that could have helped me) and just generally felt angry and fearful at the world. Ok, I still sometimes feel fearful and angry about things but, on the whole, I am much happier since I gave up the pretence of being exclusively male.

The wierd thing was that even when I tried to be as male as possible in public, I would still acknowledge the fact that I was a crossdresser (I came out about it 3-4 years ago).

Personally, I like to view myself as an androgyne. This came about when I recently thought "hmm... I wonder what my life would be like if I had been born female?" I came to the conclusion that, realistically, I'd probably have ended up cutting my hair short and being (for want of a better term) a "tomboy" of some sort. It seems like androgyny is the best way to approach my life and it is certainly not a bad thing.

Every once in a great while I will try some cross dressing. Mainly the under garments. It is a turn on. I really like when others cross dress. That turns me on even more.

I really don't mind if someone cross dresses. I enjoy getting hubby prettied up and doing his make up.. Its not sexual at all for me, but I find it enjoyable and fun none the less. He will wear my undies around the house if he wants too, but won't ever wear them out, because of the old "What if I got in an accident" thing. He even has a pair of my maternity panties in his drawer cause he likes " how roomy they are in the junk area".

I guess I sort of get off on making men step outside of their comfort zone and if a guy won't let me at least paint his toe nails, then he isn't adventurous or open-minded enough for me.

hi all, kit here: i have been cross dressing for years, the older i get the harder it gets to pass. Still doesn't stop me some days i feel like stilettos, other days steel toes, or as raist calls them "shit kicker boots". i think it stinks that it is harder for guys to cross dress in public. bout the only advice i can offer is to wear the silkies underneath your day to day apparel. this way you still get the pleasure of being yourself.

I love cross dressing, wearing a bra and panties or bikinis around the house. It is an opportunity to shed some of my masculine responsibilities and relax and enjoy my feminine side. I am always on my own and would never dress in front of anyone or try to pass.

I agree. I have never wanted to "pass", but I do love the sensuous feel of stockings, garters, panties, slip and heels. Make-up does not do much for me, but lipstick is a turn-on. Perhaps the fragrance of lipstick arouses me. However, if I happen to look in a mirror and see myself, I am turned off. I think it's the fantasy more than the reality.

I agree with everything... I have always loved the feel of nylon/silk on my skin. I especially like pantyhose, garter belts and stockings, bras and slips. In fact I often where a bra, half slip or pantyhose under my business suit. If they only knew... lol

I started to cross dress at the request of my long time secret masculine top lover. He got turned on by the bra/panties/stockings/garter/lipstick and eye shadow. I wanted to look sexy for him, so I enjoyed it. After he moved on, I started to cross dress in lingerie for my own pleasure. I still wear my male outer clothing over my fem undergarments a lot and it feels so sexy. My wife discovered my little secret a few years ago and was not pleased. I am just more careful if she is nearby when I am dressing these days.

I dress everyday. I have huge wardrobe of dresses, evenening gowns, skirts, lingerie, beautiful satin nightgowns, the whole lot. I love being as feminine as I can most of time. I even go out to a gay pub once a month dressed as a lady. Its fun.

Hey, It's your thing,,, do what you want to do,,, I can't tell you,,, who to sock it to!!! :tong:

Ya know, come to think of it. I think I could write a song that would go along those lines!!!

As a matter of fact, if i'm wearing undies, it'll be panties. I also occasionally like to wear a mini-skirt, with my pink t-shirt!
This thing has always been my thing, ever since I was a little thing.

Now to me, it's not really cross dressing, it's just wearing what you want to wear.

I'm the same. I have thongs and g-strings made for men and wear them at times because my (female) partner loves seeing me in them. And that turns me on. But one time a guy friend came over and surprised me with a thong that was almost exactly like I have and man did he look hot in it. Anyways, if it feels good do it! :wiggle2:
