Hello to all who are here. Welcum all new people. In reguards to Profiles, most members have a full profile, but i have noticed that many, many people that do not have a profile. Often times somebody will Pm me with a/s/l? Well, if you would take the time to look at my profile, you would see who i am,where im from, and what i like, or dont like.ALSO.. in reguards to PMs... its great to talk private with new people, and friends. But still, it would be great if everyone would ask first, before sending a PM. I have noticed several people in here have on profile, "please ask before you PM me", well... guess what, they still get Pms. .So, all im saying is, new members, and others... please take time to make a pro file, or just read some.
I know lots also, may have thers "turned off", which is ok too...but still, "some" info is better than none. Have fun...be safe...peace out :cool:

Good points, Rj. And have you noticed that its primarily the ones who havent anything on their profiles that do the majority of the nastiest posts and replies to others postings? Convienant, huh.

And A/S/L is so jr high. Grow up folks, we're all adults here. And yes, they dont take time to check out your profile, and See what you are like first. I cant tell you How many times I've gotten, "So you're Bi, huh?"

Or, "So does being Bi mean you like girls too?" No, there's two of me, one is straight, one is Bisexual. ":rolleyes: One's a good girl, one is Verry bad, but she's very good At it..."

Read the profiles, Loves. It'll give you a great deal of insight on the person. And, its just proper in chat to Ask a person before PM'ing them..unless you know them and have permission. I personally prefer to talk on the board..unless I know someone..;)
Just have a little consideration and manners, and you'll be great. :}

PS, I dont normally talk to someone who doesnt have a least a Little something on their profiles, and you'll find that with a lot of us. Just something to think about........

Oh RJR I completely agree with you. I don't know how many times I will try and chat in the room and get PMs over and over.

Please ask before pm people.

Another "gripe" not everyone wants to have cybersex....
Come on if that is what you are after say so up front.

Other then that I have enjoyed being a member here and I have "met" some great people.

I have always thought that for the chat room----they should have provided us some way to signal if we were open to receiving IMs or not-----it is obvious that many people don't read profiles before they hit ya up on a PM----this is a long standing problem on here.

High paw, Mrscurious..lol I tick alot of people off that PM me just wantin to Cyber. I used to greatly enjoy that...key word being Used to. Hell, I have a hard enough time keeping up on the board without having to tantalize someones mind and get Him off. B'sides, the only thing it does for me is shapens my erotic writng skills, it doesnt do anything for me..personally.

Did it ever occur to you that just because someone has a profile does not mean that they are being honest about themselves ??? If I were looking to hook up with someone (which I AM NOT), I would lie like a sonofabitch.

You can stick any bunch of stuff in a profile that you want to, and no one would ever know if it was true or not unless they actually meet you.

So, I wouldn't get overly-concerned about profiles if I were you.

And as far as PM's are concerned.... you certainly don't have to worry about getting any from me because I don't think that I even like you all that much.

i agree completely.

i'd also like to add...

i think profiles for couples should allow for two usernames so we can all know in chat which one we are chatting with without having to ask, "which one are you?" i mean, when both are present in chat, or the other shows up, it can get confusing.

Back on topic, I filled my profile out when I first joined. Have updated a few times but basically the same.

I tend not to respond to mails from people with no profile as I have no clue what they want, who they are, or who they are pretending to be :)
