I know that there doesn't seem to be much activity here---but I decided to join even though I don't currently live in SC--I have in the past--have lived in Hilton Head for a time in various places--I still go there quite often and I also went to the University of South Carolina in Columbia--didn't graduate sad to say--I just had too good a time!! I lived in several places around the Columbia area too----so with all of that---I consider SC to be one of my "home places" as well. Its been a part of my life since I was 13 years old and who knows--I might wind up back there again soon---most likely in the Beaufort, HHI, Bluffton areas. I really love Beaufort. Pat Conroy is one of my favorite authors---I have every one of his books--all signed by him. I took a few classes lead by James Dickey when I attended USC--he was one force of a man---big, huge body and a personality and ego to match---very intimidating being a young college student I have to say!! So--as I said--even though I am currently not residing in the state---I still have a very strong and close connection with the Palmetto State. I am of course a Gamecock fan and very happy that Steve Spurrier is making them competitive in the SEC!!! GO COCKS!!!!
