    penthouse letters

I was just wondering if anyone, who will read this, has ever written to penthouse or penthouse letters? This subject popped into my head and I thought it would be cool to throw it out there! I personally have never sent a letter in, but I think it would be awesome, not to mention a turn on, to hear about those letters. Please let me and everyone else know what year and month!

That's an interesting question. I never have, but I wanted to make comment:

A few years ago I read a Penthouse letter that actually included male bisexuality in it. It was really hot, but it was the only time I had seen anything like it in a Penthouse letter. I never saw any male bisexuality in any letters after that one and no longer read the magazine. Was this something that was common in the letters or was it just a one-time thing? I can't find the issue now, otherwise I would post the year and date.

I have never written to a magazine about such things, but have always enjoyed reading. I find it educational to read as many of the questions were in fact ones I had asked myself. In many instances, I think this forum is similar in nature to that column. We all have questions and comments and would like answers and comments from others.

Another somewhat related favorite I like to read is " Can this Marriage be Saved" which appears in Ladies Home Journal. I find it gives insight into what works for people.

Well that is my two cents.

Penthouse Forum would frequently have a few letters that included male bisexuality or homosexuality.

I sent something into Penthouse Letters - but I don't remember if they published it or not! I do know I wrote about being bisexual and a threesome with a man and his wife but, damn, the more I think about it, the more I think they did publish it because I remember holding onto a copy for "quite some time." Damn this getting old shit...

    Re: penthouse letters

I remember reading some when I was younger. I actually bought a box of them at a garage sale when I was about 10 thinking they were comic books. The old lady who sold them to me actually said that her husband had collected them and that they may be valuable some day. Once I got them home and started looking through them, I realized what she said was true. LOL! I wish I still had some today, but I had loaned or sold them to my friends.

It was one of the things I loved about them. In an age before the internet they were the only mainstream venue of bisexual male erotica.

Penthouse letters and hustler variations are both where I learned about pegging before it was called pegging

Penthouse letters and, in particular, Penthouse's Variations magazine is where I first realized that other men found it hot to imagine or actually have a wife/gf who fucks other men.

    Re: penthouse letters

Is it me, or did most Penthouse letters start with the phrase, “ I never believed that it could happen to me”.
I remember finding some hedgeporn (porn stash found usually in the woods) and finding towards the back of the mag ads for gay porn, I was amazed, scared and turned on. The best magazine I ever found was called Heat, it was even more eye-opening, so much to the point I was bound and determined to find out who left a hardcore gay magazine out in my little town. Some things remain a mystery to this day.

Penthouse Letters is where I first read about guys sucking cock, and it certainly stirred an interest in me that had never been there before.

    Re: penthouse letters

Not to burst anyone's bubble.... I had a friend (haven't seen him in decades) who was an english major at Yale. He made money in the summer working for PH. Whenever there was an insufficient number of letters that they wanted to publish - this guy would write something according to whatever instructions that he was given (i.e. bi, straight, mature, first time, etc.) and of course it would be published.
I have masturbated many times reading PH letters, if I were to look at the magazine today, I would consider those "letters" to be fantasy (which is still okay with me) rather than fact.

Interesting, over the years of reading Penthouse, a lot the letter became recycled...
If it is to be, let it be with me

    Re: penthouse letters

There use be a Penthouse Variations magazine I use to read. It had everything in the magazine stories of bisexual, cross dressing, domination, submission, exhibitionist, voyeurism, and everything else. I used to get it monthly.
